Ramblings of a Mami of Two

I am going to sing lots and lots of praises to this awesome human creation since this is the very reason Ach and I became bubble tea addicts. The milk tea does not taste like tea or the usual teh tarik mamak, it tastes more like vanila flavored milk with a hint of jasmine tea. I said jasmine because the tea smells and tastes very-very wangi! Its creamy and sweet but not too sweet nor too creamy that you feel full after 3 sips. The amount of ice cubes put into it is just right, they dont melt immediately making the tea tasteless in five minutes. The tapioca pearls, oo emm ji. They're not like ordinary tapioca pearls. These are special ones. They're chewy but not too chewy that they become rubbery, they're sweet but not too sweet. They taste and and smell like jasmine too, just like the tea.You know when you take a sip of bubble tea, you expect to sip the pearls together tapi you're not too sure how many you could get? 1. Is a learner! He likes books, flash cards, newspapers, magazines, anything with pictures and words printed on them. He can associate pictures with certain sounds / actions. eg, he imitates the act of blowing and sounding the horn when he sees a picture of horn, he imitates the sound an owl makes whenever we show him a picture of an owl. 2. Likes to eat medicine, but only the sedap and sweet ones. He likes em a lot to the extent that dia suap ubat sendiri and will ask for more. 3. Suka bau kaki sendiri and buat muka busuk. 4. Still belum boleh cakap lagi. Even so, he understands most of the things said to him. Like, Hakimi, close your eyes, and he would cover them with his hands. Or, Hakimi, wash your mouth, and he will wipe his mouth. Or hakimi, wipe your feet. He will wipe his feet atas carpet. So I think he'll pick up quite fast once he knows how to talk. 6. FYI, both Ach and I are die-hard fans of pearl teas. They are commonly known as bubble tea, for the black bubbles. Even tho we like to call ourselves die-hard fans, tapi kami ni takde la sanggup nak pusing merata Malaysia semata2 utk cari milk tea yang best. So back to the story, whenever we go to any mall, we'll make sure we find kedai bubble tea. Confirm ada. Sedap tak sedap different cerita. Btw, i forgot to mention, there are many flavors of bubble teas, from fruit juices and hazelnut to cappuccino. Adorable kannnn???? Her name is Cleopatra Stratan and she's singing Numar Pan'La Unu. She was only three when she first started singing and now she's a major success in Romania. Kot. I think she's from Romania. This cutie was born in 2002, which makes her 8 this year. And she's already richer than me by millions. This girl must be a genius. I mean, she was three when she did her first two-hour concert. I don't know many kids who can memorize even twinkle2 star at that age. Or maybe i havent met many kids. But, the point is, she's brilliant enough to sing and act. Just watch her videos and look at her face expressions and body language. Brillianttt i tell youuu. Can you believe it? 16 months??? Another 6 more months and he'll be 2! OMG. He's getting naughtier now. And more stubborn. I can see a few traits established very clearly now. He appears to be a pembersih person. When he made a mess, eg. spilled something on the floor or tumpah kan nasi, he'd immediately ask for kain buruk or tissue or anything to clean the mess. Usually he'd want me to dukung him bila aku balik from kerja, BUT, he wont come running to me, he would remain where he is, and wait for me to come running to him. Since I became maidless, I have tried my best to make a lot of things convenient for me. That includes, mostly, closing one eye over a messy house and unfolded laundries, as well as developing thick skin when seeing mak lipat kain while I baring2 dekat living room. The thing is, I AM embarrassed when mak does the laundry and folding and storing them in my closet. But, my job is too demanding that by the time I get back I just don’t have the brain space to do as much as watch tv. All I want is get a good shower and eat and play2 and sleep (at 930!). I just leave the unfolded laundry in the maid’s room and turn it into a whole messy closet of mine. As in, korek2 je underneath the rubble of baju and I sure will find my bra hidden somewhere.
