Ramblings of a Mami of Two

*SUPER BELATED POST* This actually took place a month ago, I just didn't feel like declaring that, at that time.   About the two weeks, they passed by quite easily, to my surprise. At first I thought it was gonna be two hellish weeks - I have never been left to manage the two kids on my own. Ach has always been there to help me - he gets kimi ready for school every morning, from waking him up to fixing his breakfast; while I get Hadi ready for nursery. Ach sends and picks kimi up from school while I do the same for Hadi.  Once home from work, I'll make dinner while Ach takes care of the kids and gets them ready for bed. Sometimes, well most of the times actually, Ach would buy dinner before he gets home with Kimi. Hmm. Hmmmmm. Writing all these down makes me feel like a failed mom.  So when I heard that Ach will be away to Geneva for two weeks I kinda panicked. *SUPER BELATED POST* I drafted this post before I turned 30, updated it a day after and then forgot to publish. Blegh. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I realised that I was about to turn 30, which was a week before, I kinda panicked and had a major case of depression. I think I went through a mid-life crisis, heck, I still get severely depressed whenever I think about it. You know, I realised that in the 30 years that God has given me to live on the face of His earth, I have not achieved much, and I don't have a clear path in front of me. What have I done? Have I contributed to anyone's happiness? Have I contributed to anyone? Where am I going? Am I going to continue driving a compact car for the rest of my life?
