India: Day 2

It's only my second day here, tapi tekak saya dah sakit gaya2 nak demam. Hopefully tak demam. I stayed in my room until 1 pm. Didnt even have my breakfast. I ate my megi for breakfast.

The training course is held at another place, not at the hotel. We were informed by the receptionist that a van will come at 1pm to pick us up and bawak pergi the Institute dekat Janakpuri. At 1.30 kami bertolak from hotel. I thought its going to be a short ride, I was wrong. It turned out to be a one hour ride.

I saw a lot of things on our way to the Institute. Weird things, shocking things, heartbreaking things...

At a junction bawah a flyover, kan ada area bawah flyover yang kereta memang tak lalu, I saw a mother coaxing her crying son (macam setahun lebih sikit, baya Kimi je), dia baringkan the baby on a blanket that looks very2 dirty that its black in color and then dia selimutkan with an equally dirty blanket. Again, my heart broke. Kimi if you are reading this, you are very2 lucky to live in Malaysia.

the one that i'm talking about is perempuan in baju hijau

Then tak lama lepas tu, we stopped at a traffic light. Tiba2 I saw two little girls, on the road, doing SUMMERSAULTS!!!! Dahla drivers dekat sini tak berapa nak sopan santun, budak2 ni siap buat back flips ok! I cant imagine how hard life is for them to force them into risking their lives like that. After their little "performance", dia ketuk2 van mintak duit. Of course tak bagi. Tak tau kenapa kedekut sangat saya ni.

Our class continuted until 8 pm. Ridiculous, I know. Anyways, on our way back balik hotel, I saw more weird things. Since its winter here, the nights get very cold. Around 14C camtu. Tepi2 jalan I saw homeless people buat tents everywhere. And tepi2 tents tu they light up bonfires to keep themselves warm. Each bonfire ada groups of 4-6 people, all trying to get warm. I am shivering like mad, and I am in the comfort of my hotel room. Cant imagine how cold it is for them. Kesiannnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

One of the many tents / quarters haram tepi jalan. Yang ni saiz dia macam 1.5 m x 5 m aje.

People have been advising me not to take food from the road side. Sebab tak hygienic. Harini baru aku tau one of the reasons kenapa dia tak hygienic. You know what, I saw at least 5 people PEEING ON THE ROAD SIDE like nobody's business. If you see someone standing still with their backs facing the road, then tau la dia buat apa. Ini bukannya dekat semak2 gaya-gaya hidden tau, ini betul2 tepi jalan. Oh em ji saya terkujat.

Okay itu je cerita untuk second day.
