Yeayyy Kimi's successfully potty-trained...

but he only knows how to do no. 2 in the toilet. Well, I've won half the battle already!

Anyways, he seems to only be aware of the need to stay clean of his poop, not his pee.Lemme share with you our potty-training journey so far:
  1. We started a couple of months ago, by just telling him how awesome it is to stay clean from his poop and pee. We also taught him what to say when he wants to pee, "Mommyyy mommyyy Kimi nak pee! (or yak)! Toilet jom!" And he'd happily repeat this, without really understanding when or how to use it.
  2. Occasionally we would get him to go commando (i.e. without diaper) for half a day, scheduled his toilet trips every half hour, and taught him how to position himself comfortably on the toilet seat.
  3. Then magic happened. Sometime between a couple of months ago and last week, I suppose Kimi began to be aware of his bodily functions. Last week, he told me that he needed to do No. 2. He came to me and said, "Mommyyyy nak yakkk. mommyy tulet, tulet!" sambil pulling my hand and lompat2 gaya panic. Then it happened. He did no. 2 as soon as he was on the toilet! I felt like lompat-lompat while yelling, oooo yeeehhh victory! Victory!

Of course, our journey was not without a couple of accidents and funny stories:
  1. Kimi does not like having his stuff fondled even by me teehehehe. But I had to clean him kan, not like I am molesting my own son! Everytime if i were to clean his stuff i.e. balls Kimi will always say something that vary in between, "Mommy! Jangan pegang tau!" and "Mommyyyyyyyyyy, dah dah dah". Ahahahahahahahaha memang kene berenti gelak dulu la kan??
  2. Kimi will pee first and tell later. Despite the many, many, manyyy efforts to tell him to do the other way round. So if you're ever in my house, be careful if you walk on the carpet in front of the tv, the store room, or the kitchen. Aha, jokin. Of course aku dah bersihkan.
  3. He is quite a penggeli kid. Every single time a poop comes out, he'd get me to wash his bum. Even when he's not done yet. "Mommyy, dirty! Basuh basuh."

So it looks like I've tackled number 2. The only problem is, he won't tell me if he wants to do number 1. This, I don't know how to tackle. He seems like he's not aware of number 1. I'll need to work harder on this.

Two more months to go.

i trained my son, tapi selalu dia pegi atas lantai & pandang bird & keluarlah beberapa titis. hahaa.. at least he knows there is 'something' nak keluar, instead of sedang keluar or dah keluar.
