Chatting is never the best medium to communicate.

The intonation isn't clear, and you never know what the person on the other side is really feeling. A "what?!" can be interpreted as a shocked "what", an angry "what", a disappointed "what" and others...there are so many ways to interpret a single "what?!".
Well yeah some says we have technology, ada webcam, yeah very true indeed but sometimes facial expressions can be misleading too. Some people don't smile in front if the webcam, even though the person on the other end is making freaking funny jokes, and some maybe too tired to smile, but that too, can be misinterpreted as not interested in the conversation. Everything really depends on the individual. I, for example, I never really care about the trivial things. As long as they have nothing to do with me, then I don't care. Call me being indifferent or whatever you like.

And your point rarely gets across clearly. Like I said before, a "what?!" can be interpreted in so many ways, so if you're angry at that moment the other person might not get it. Even if you're not angry the person at the other end might think you are. And that's what that leads to endless fights. UNINTENTIONAL fights. When it's unintentional, its useless. You fight for no reason. All of a sudden everything that started out nicely became a nightmare, just because one silly misunderstanding. One thing leads to another, and for the worst case, ended up with a breakup or anything of the same degree. Isn't that plain nonsense?

Though it's a bit more expensive than hooking up on the net, I prefer the more traditional phone call. It's easier, and it's more relationship-friendly.

Sigh~
Why am I making a karangan here?
