The alumni's dinner was, well, okay.
The food was worse than Lee Tang's.
In fact, i've always enjoyed Lee Tang's onion and pepper beef.
To add to that, MY black pepper beef tastes better than their black pepper chicken.
$100 wasted just like that.
Well, bashing session is about to start. It's the time again, i think. Masa tu...semuanya tak kena.
Tell me, if you went to a function, with bf/gf whoever, would you have wanted to sit separately, especially when your partner knows nobody there? What would you feel then when somebody, supposedly to be close to you, said,
"what to do? you would have to split. Either you kat sini or dia kat sana." Without trying to help.
I dont know if that sounded like a joke, but it sure didnt sound like it. That sounded...hmm..
Of course i would wanna be seated with my other half. (it annoys the hell out of me when people keep referring their boyfriends as their other half, i just dont know why, maybe it's just the time of the month, after all, i get annoyed with all the simplest things. Cliche orang kata.)
p/s: dont get me wrong, i love my bf.
So, how would it feel, when you really wanted to see you friends, to spend more time with them, but then you had this curfew, that you know memang takde chan nak cross, and you ask for their understanding, maybe not in the politest ways, sebab in nature you're never best at words, and one replied,
"Come on la, you;re already 22."
That's freaking insensitive and shallow and immature.
So what if i'm 22?! I dont work, i dont have a job, i dont have my own fixed income, (being a teacher for 2 weeks doesnt count), i dont have my own freaking car, and on top of that, I STILL LIVE WITH MY MOTHER. I'm a freaking student who's still living with her mother who sets quite an early curfew. I'm not complaining, though.
So isnt it just natural to not let your daughter go out until 2 in the morning when she's still living with you? Wont you be protective towards your daughter? You, if you were a mother, would you be happy knowing your daughter is still out at 2 am? Duduk different roofs lain cerita. Would you be happy knowing that there's a possibility that your daughter's whoring around and you dont even try to stop that?
Well, aku tak kata la yang keluar 2-3 pagi tu whores and bitches, that's just the worst case scenario. Yang aku kata ni jenis gi dancing2 clubbing2 mabuk2 cium2 raba2 pastu tayang2 botol beer kat friendster tu. Kaum2 jakun orang utan macam tu la. Bodoh. Buat jahat tak cover, budget modern habis la tu. Mangkuk ayun.
If you asked me, i'd say learn to put yourself in other people's shoes before you said anything stupid. You might not mean it, but you never know what kind of reaction you might get.
If you ask me to go out, at nite, forget it. I can't.
And dont come and say to my face, "Come on la, you're already 22."
I'll block you out from my friends list, immediately, no regrets.
