Raya-raya Yong Peng

First raya as a wifey. Which means, first raya away from mak. Tho I did raya 4 years without mak, tapi rasa dia lain sebab semorang pun raya without their mothers. But this is different, sebab my mak is so near yet so far.  

Ach's mom made us all baju raya same color. The girls had the same kain, and the guys had the same samping. Except that Ach's baba's baju is made of different material but about the same color. Believe me we ppl wouldve believed us if they were told we're on our way to a nasyid competition. Baba would be lead vocalist. 

Anyways, as usual pagi raya ach and family had the salam-salam session. Macam biasa, they started the order with the eldest down to the youngest. The salam salam order was supposed to be like this:

Baba duduk.

Ma salam baba.  Ma duduk.

Ach salam baba and Ma. Ach duduk.

Ajan salam baba and ma and ach. Ajan duduk.

And so on.

Except that when it was my turn to salam ach, I skipped him and saye terus duduk. Agak lama jugakla before i realized, alamak, da kawen, ada husband nak kena salamm!!! Maka dengan kelam kabutnye saye terus melutut depan ach and salam. Tapi cakap slamat hari raya je.Takde maaf zahir batin and lupe nak kiss kiss muah muah. Muehehehe.

Lupe all the script i had practiced the night before. Sebab: 

1. conscious too many ppl watching

2. menggelabah sebab lupe salam husband sendiri (ooo da kawen hekk? lupe lak.)

3. rindu kat mak.

Note to myself: next time kite salam salam dalam bilik dulu okay? 

Oh and being married is sooo syiok sebab dapat duit raya!!! Kalau tau dari dulu aku kawen dah!

I think ppl need to kasi duit raya to babies dalam perut sekali la. Ppl, consider giving a baby dalam perut duit raya sekali ok?? Its never too early to start a savings account. 

Orang Johor punye makanan raya ada sedikit pelik compared to Orang Negeri 9 punya lauk raya. Theyre not pelik as in weird, but pelik because theyre wayy too different than what I used to eat pagi raya. There was no lemang, not much of kuah kacang (these two happen to be my two fav makanan raye!), or rendang. They eat their ketupats with kari ayam. And ada sambal sotong. Eaten with the kuah lodeh. Kat gombak kitorang panggil lontong. Hmm... I still have lots of adjusting to do here... Tapi takpe I have pesan to mak (quite a few times actually) to freeze the rendang and the kuah kacang and even tapau bibik's rendang for me. =D

Ach was such a sweetheart, the day before raya he went and find lemang for me. Makasihh... 

Will be going back to KL tomorrow. Pagi kot? Tak berapa sure. Anyways here are the few pictures taken on pagi raya. Not much because I havent been camera friendly nowadays. Plus mata was a bit sembab from crying. Weyy what do you expect. Orang rindu mak orang aaa...
