Kimi's First Day with the Babysitter
Since its our first time, we were quite clueless on what we're supposed to do; items to bring, food, what time do we send him or pick him up, and most importantly how do we hand him to the babysitter and leave him when he'll definitely be crying his lungs out .
The previous night we prepared his bag, and pack all his baju, susu, diapers and what not lah. Then while nursing him I gave him some pep-talks about behaving and all that. Sambil nangis sikit2. Mommy yang nangis bukan baby.
Then yesterday morning I woke up earlier than usual and for the first time, prepared his breakfast in a cute lunchbox! Konon2 nak buat ala-ala bento yang comel, tapi takde masa and takde tools maka jadi la bekal makanan yang biasa. I prepared mini pillsburry instant pancakes and grapes. I read somewhere that you should peel the grapes so I did just that. Kimi if you happen to be reading this, you see mommy loves you very much, tau tak?
Kimi was still half-asleep when we got to the babysitter's house. Nama babysitter Kimi is Mak Noor. Kimi calls him Mak. I used to be sensitive about having my son calling another person anything that carries the same meaning as Mommy. But what to do? Back to the story, Mak Noor took Kimi as soon as we got there and brought him to the kitchen. Kami berdua, ach and I, dua-dua were stunned. Aik itu je? Tade babai2? Takde kiss2? I think kimi was just as stunned as we were because he didnt cry at all.
Later at 10 am I called Kak Noor to check on Kimi. She said Kimi's been crying non stop since morning, dia pusing keliling rumah searching for a familiar face. I heard him crying while I as on the phone with Kak Noor. Lagi sekali mommy yang manja ni menangis. Adoi, God gimme the strength to go through this pls.
Luckily yesterday I had a meeting at Putrajaya so I had the chance to balik awal straight from the meeting. On the way back home I could think of nothing but to kiss my son. Awww... You know what I think this whole servantless thing makes my family closer than we have been. So anyways when I got to Kak Noor's house Kimi was crying like nobody's business. Dia nampak je mommy dia lari to the door and peluk saya kuat-kuat. Awww. His eyes were red and puffy from the crying. Adoii... Meruntun jiwa betul.
I think he'll get used to it, he just needs time to get adjusted to the new routine. Anak orang boleh kenapa anak Mommy cannot? We need to get out of this manja shell, baby.
I leave you with picture of Kimi's first "bento". Hiihihi.

and yes, he's the youngest.
y not, b4 pas kat Mak Noor, soh kimi salam you and kiss kiss b4 pegi. and tell him u pick him up later, cos mummy gotta work :) tak lah stunned sangat :)
and mebi awal2 ni, bekalkan sama his feveret toys or something familiar to him :)
1) helos berjiwa batu hantar anak tak ade pun nak meruntun jiwa tgk hQ nangis unlike me.
2) hQ cool bila dada dia yg hantar. kalau aku hantar comfirm kaki aku ni x dilepaskan.
So try ler maybe ach can send him instead of u? tugas aku now ni is only to pick him up from taska which is EASY coz all i get when i meet him is smiley faces..ahh happiness :)
Betul juga kan? Rather than tinggal macam tu je nanti dia ingat i tak sayang dia. We'll try that. Thanks!

Both of us sent him to the babysitter. Nanti kita try hantar sorang2. Kalau anngis juga memang sah manja. Macam aku.Muahahaha.
like me, hantar berdua also. tapi dia ikut moood. kekadang ok kekadang melalak. dulu bila hantar sorang, dia melalak. bila ayah dia anta, ikut mood. now anta sama sama. happy jugak lah tengok his face happy je. kekekeke.
kena banyak trial and error :) cam my son, kalo kite buat dek masa hantar, time amik petang tu dia buat dek kat kita balik.. ekekeke
wat keja kat umah je cam skang..hoho..
