Shout Out Song for the Husband

I love my husband.

Betul, tak tipu. Memang nampak macam kadang2 saya ni kasar and couldn't care less about people around me but deep inside i'm a softie. I can be a really sweet person too, bila saya ada mood. Hihihi self praising. Tak malu.

Btw, does anyone of you listen to Mix FM's Breakfast Show? If you do, I'm sure you've heard of their SOS or Shout Out Songs. For those who havent, its a segment where the DJs, Ferhad, Rudy and Jay sing dedication songs as requested by their listeners. The songs are composed by the DJs themselves and most of the times are very funny.

During my second day here, masa on the of classes, I sent an email to them requesting for an SOS for Ach. It was a mightly long email, I was practically begging them to choose my request. In the email, I mentioned that I'm currently in India, ach is maidless and is taking care of the baby on his own (of course I didnt mention that we're living with my mom hiihi) and I thought it'd be sweet to surprise him while he's on his way to work. I also told them about the manual i did.

I sent the email at 8.50pm malaysian time and they responded at 9.42 pm!!!! How efficient is that??? And of course they responded with good news, that they have chosen my request and will do it the next day which was 3rd Feb. I was so excited, balik je bilik I called ach and reminded him to not silent his phone. Sebab laki aku ni memang suka silent phone sia2 je karang dia tak perasan phone call from Mix! Of course he was curious when I told him that. Saya pun cover by saying that I wanna call him when he's on his way to work nanti. Hahahah. Lame, I know.

I woke up at 5.30 am local time, tuned in to Mix online radio semata2 nak dengar SOS. Usually they'll do the SOS at 750 am. I waited till 750, and when 750 comes, they sang something else. I was like, what the hellllll??? TIpuuuu. I was devastated. I thot, maybe dia call ach tapi ach didnt hear the call so they decided to do other SOS. Adoi. So since I said I'll call him, and saje nak check if phone dia silent ke tak, maka I called him and make up some lame conversation like, "Hiiii yayanggg on the way to office kee? Okayyy jalan baik2 ye... byee nak sambung tidur." Maka aku pun sambung tidur. Ach mustve been confused.

Then I woke up at 9 local time, went online, and said hi to ach on gtalk. He said, "Patutlaa tak bagi silent phone!! Thank you bieee!!!" Gua confuse kejap. Like, what the hell? They did the SOS????

I missed it??

Apparently, They DID the sos tapi pukul 9 malaysian time!!! And and and and, they DID call me tapi aku tak dengar sebab my phone was on SILENT. Ohhhh idiot ajan idiottttttttttttttt. Mana laaaaaaaaaaaaaa teman nak tau they do another SOS at 9???? Aku dah dekat office that time. There were 4 misscalls from Mix FM. Ohhh ruginyaaa I missed the chance to be on radio (and to listen to the SOS)!!

Btw, when I talked to ach, he sounded very2 happy. And terharu. Awww. I love you too baby!

Harini (4 Feb) I checked Mix FM's website and found out they have uploaded the song online. Ohhh terharunyaaa saya dengar SOS tu!! I almost cried. At the end of the song, ada suara ach dengar sikit2 tapi last2 ach letak phone. Maybe dia terharu sampai menangis and tak mampu berkata-kata. Speechless, bak kata the americans. Hahaha.
