Wrong question, wrong time

One fine Thursday when I was in a VERY bad thunderstorm puting beliung twister mood, I made a call to TM's Customer Care. Biasalah when you called nanti kan dia memang kena ask all sorts of questions to verify the caller kan?

TM : May I know under whose name this account is?
Ajan : It's under [abah's name].
TM : Nama penuh?
Ajan : [abah's full name].
TM : Boleh saya tahu nama cik?
Ajan :[my name]
TM  : Boleh saya tau apa nama penuh cik?
Ajan : [my name binti abah's name]
TM : Apa relationship cik dengan pemegang account?
Ajan : *dumbfounded* He's my father. Isn't that obvious from my name?
TM  : Maaf cik, kami kena tanya soalan untuk verify.
Ajan : Takde soalan lagi pandai ke nak tanya?

And the rest of the conversation went on very bitterly.

Adoi, sometime the question they ask memang menyakitkan hati. but come to think of it kan, it's the company procedure, kalau tak follow kang, derang kena marah. Kalau follow, kena marah ngan customer sebab soalan bunguks.. hehehe

yeah i know its their procedure. I used to work at a call center once.

Tapi i was very moody and had to vent at someone teeheheheehe.

Takpe, its part of their jobscope. THey're paid to take the yellings.

i agree it's procedure to ask suma tu. but the set of qs dat supposed to ask shd hv undergone proper filteration from various parties.

kekdg bank akan tny ni, can u tell me the amount of ur last payment, miss? i'll just say....erm brp ek? seribu ke? ke 2 ribu? ke eh brp ek? guess org tu just take d hint and ask another q. but of course, i did that with joking tone la. in actual fact, cc aku x pnh cecah 1k.
