aChieaJanie was without aChie for 2 weeks

*SUPER BELATED POST*

This actually took place a month ago, I just didn't feel like declaring that, at that time.  

About the two weeks, they passed by quite easily, to my surprise.

At first I thought it was gonna be two hellish weeks - I have never been left to manage the two kids on my own. Ach has always been there to help me - he gets kimi ready for school every morning, from waking him up to fixing his breakfast; while I get Hadi ready for nursery. Ach sends and picks kimi up from school while I do the same for Hadi. 

Once home from work, I'll make dinner while Ach takes care of the kids and gets them ready for bed. Sometimes, well most of the times actually, Ach would buy dinner before he gets home with Kimi. Hmm. Hmmmmm. Writing all these down makes me feel like a failed mom. 

So when I heard that Ach will be away to Geneva for two weeks I kinda panicked. How do I prepare Kimi's breakfast in the morning with Hadi screaming? How do I take my shower and leave Hadi alone with Kimi? How do I make dinner? How how how howwww?

Two weeks has passed, Ach is back, safely, alhamdulillah, and all three of us, Mami, Abang Kimi and Adik survived, except for a mild case of conjunctivitis for kimi, Adik got slightly feverish and Mami's hair strewn all over the house, all of us survived. I even managed to bring Kimi for wall climbing and did grocery shopping. 

But of course, I did not do all that without help. Mak came over for a few days to help, my little brother Shafiq stayed with us for the first week. The second week was a bit tough because I was all by myself but again, I got help because Mak supplied us with enough frozen dinners to last me until Wednesday. Mak and Rasydan my nephew came on Wednesday night to help with the house and preparation to welcome Ach the next day. Rasydan helped with vacuming while Mak helped with my nasi minyak, rendang, dalca sayur and lemon butter cookies. All these WILL NOT BE possible without external help.

Jadi takde la superwoman sangat, tapi boleh lah survive. =)
