Oh Kakngah!
I can not thank god enough for blessing me with my sister. I used to hate my sister for being so orthodox, with her zaman tuk kaduk(or so it seemed a few years ago)nye mentality. The ones like, I can look at you and know if you're a virgin or not. I can tell if you're a virgin like these like these if you do these and these. Chinese will always try to pull Malays down and yadda yadda. Like, AF winners should only be Malays because by voting Malays/Muslims, we are helping them by giving the prize to them. Masa AF3 nye final, me and my brother prayed so hard that felix(non-malay) would win instead of Mawi(pak aji ustad alim) just to spite her. Saya tak setuju okey, AF and Islam/races tak patut dikaitkan. takde kene mengene.
But I digress.
But sebenarnya, after nearly 2 months balik, I learned to understand my sister more. She can be really fun to hang out with okay, despite our big age gap. She's like 40. Or so. And I'm 23. Hehehe... Dulu aku gile benci le bile dia tegur aku or sebut pasal AF and agama, but now i learned to hate just her opinion, not my sister. Tapi bukan AF aje la, ada la banyak bende lagi. Oh and whenever kitorang argue, tengah2 i'd just give up. Hihhi. takde gunenye argue same orang tua ni. Ey tak berapa matured aku nih.
She pulls me up whenever i am down, and tell me to keep having faith in god whenever i started to lose it. Tapi she never marah2 ke aper, she said in a way that, man... semuanye betul la. Maybe she was once in my position, she understands me perfectly well.
Seriously, after 2 days moping around the house with my self esteem million miles under the ocean, a 15-mins pep-talk with her today cheered me up like a USD100 shopping spree in Woodbury! Well, tak sangat sebenarnya, maybe like USD75... Or, a new Guess handbag from Crossgates. Ey, I am not that hard to please eh?
So what if she thinks Malays shouldnt vote the non-malays in AF, she is still the best sister in the whoooleeee wide world.
Oh and you know what, She bought me swiss roll when I casually mentioned my cravings for chocolate cake on a phone call during her lunch time. Okay fine, chocolate swiss roll is the cheapest thing after choc moist cake laa. Much love!
