Happy 1st Birthday, Baby

Mommy loves you very, very, very much!!!

You know what, it feels like it was only yesterday when you were born, when i first held you in my arms, when i first kissed you and said, "So, you're the one who's been jumping and kicking me in my belly all these times, aren't you?"

It feels like only yesterday when I nursed you for the very first time, and i tell you, you're a quick learner! You latched on correctly the first time! And the feeling, OMG, it was the most wonderful feeling in this world.

And it feels like only yesterday when you kept me up all night for one whole month straight. You'd only sleep at 6 in the morning, every day without failing. I watched all movies on HBO, Cinemax, Star Movies, AXN, you name it. I knew that channel 711 airs That 70's Show everyday, weekdays at 6 am. I knew, cause I was still awake that time.

And then as months passed by, you started to sleep like normal person at night, outgrew your rompers, started taking solids and formula. I watched you cry, smile, laugh, walk and do all sorts of adorable things. I had loved you, hugged you, breastfed you and cuddled you to sleep. I had even lost my patience with you and hit you till you cry.

All in all baby, I must say that our journey for the past year has been a very beautiful one. You made me a better person, more cheerful, more thankful of what God has given me. I wouldn't trade that memory for anything, not even if it cost my life. I hope our journey for the years to come will be much better than the last one, if not as good.
