Happy Belated First Father's Day!
Thanks to (*$%# we had to celebrate father's day a week late. Well, shit happens especially when you've sold your soul to the devil (read:B*&^%$) for luxuries like coffee bean and salon hair-dyes.
Lets proceed shall we?
My plan was to make the whole weekend as a "weekend filled with home-cooked and home-made goodness, all made with love". Translated to: I dont really have money to take you out to some fancy restaurants or relaxing weekend getaway or buy you some complicated gizmos so you'll just have to settle with what Ive planned for you. =)
I started with chicken mushroom pie on saturday. This is how it came out:
I think it looks a bit bleghh but Ach said it tasted good and I have to agree. Totally awesome for a first timer! Teehehehehe. He ended up eating almost half of the 10 pieces that I made. That afternoon we went back to kampung sebab his mom buat kenduri yassin.
The masak-masak continued the next day when we got home from kampung. I made grilled steak for dinner!! Took about 1.5 hour to prepare the side dishes (i made shrimp cocktail, fresh vegies, cajun fried potatoes and nasi goreng for mak who cant live without nasik), then took 5 mins to grill the steaks. This is the final product:

Actually Kimi was supposed to hand over the father's day card to daddy all the while wearing something that I had sewn earlier. So sedih, I ended up giving it to ach myself:

I stumbled upon your blog when i googled Dr. Adilah's name. Ari tu you deliver your baby with her kan? Do u mind sharing with me how much is the cost? I am planning to deliver my baby kat Pusrawi with her tapi need to check on the cost. Diorang dah takde any package skarang ni. errmm. bole advise on the rough amount? so bole la saya buat kire2 =)

Actually, it was Dr. Asmah Yon who delivered my baby, tho initially we had planned to have Dr. Adilah do it. The morning I gave birth Dr. Adilah did all the checkup and announced that I boleh give birth hari tu juge. But then she wasnt available that evening when I was 10cm dilated. =)
The thing is, we can request, but it all depends on the dr's availability. If you're lucky then you'll get your preferred doctor. But then, they are all trained and very friendly, Dr. Asmah Yon turned out to be amazing!
As for the costs, it depends on whatever extra-stuff(i.e. injection, room, etc) that you took.
I stayed in their super deluxe room (only because their single rooms were all full), took epidural shot, requested extra pads and called the nurses couple of times at night. All these are chargeable.
I can only remember couple of details: The room i stayed in was RM500/night, epidural had costed me around RM800 (anesthetist's fee + the shot itself,) doctor's fee around RM1K.
In the end, we were charged around RM4900++ for the whole stay. Hehe that made it sound like a vacation.

Natang alah applique tu senang aje. Aku beli felt dekat satu art shop dekat ampang park, ada banyak2 kale.
Then aku trace pattern tu atas kertas, then i cut the pattern, then trace on the felt, then jahit. For tutorials on the different stitches type, aku refer kat sini:

Baju tu, aku beli dekat kedai mana2 je.. this one aku jumpa dekat brands outlet. 5 inggit. teehehehe.

Takde Brands Outlets ye kat sana? Kalau kau nak aku boleh tgkkan kat sini ada lagi ke dak baju yang itu.
Felt tu agak mahal la jugak, satu piece besar A4 tu RM2. Tapi kalau pattern kecik pakai selai tu je, maybe dalam 3 different colors.
