Double Celebration

Celebration #1 - Ach's *ehem ehem* Birthday

We didn't do much. Somehow due to some constraints, this year's celebration is a bit subdued. But fun nonetheless. Anyways, as usual I like to celebrate any events by cooking. This year I made lontong for breakfast. Ach kata sedap. Yeay. Then I tried to make coconut candies, because Ach said he loves them. Unfortunately, the candies tak jadi because they wont harden. Lembek je macam wajik. Or dodol. Kesian.

Then we went to The Apartment for dinner. I think this is the only place where you can experience eating in a bathroom (tapi takde la sampai ada toilet bowl. Shower head ngan tempat gantung towel ada la). Cozy and very accommodating to kids. Nice food that are reasonably priced, nice ambience and friendly staff. They even got Kimi a balloon when he cried. Awww... you want to mengorat mommy you mengorat the son dulu okkk???

Btw, he had peking duck (blegh), steak sandwich (awesome!!!) and fish and chips (absolutely finger licking good!).

Celebration #2 - aChieaJanie's 2nd Anniversary

Dua tahun dah saya kawin. This year's theme is "I wanna grow old with you". Honestly, i think i couldnt love my husband more, but each year i find that i am in love with him more than ever. Macam tambah-tambah sayang sangat sangat.

I didn't cook anything since 7 December 2009 falls on a Monday. So we celebrated by having dinner at Bora Asmara. Initially we planned to go without Kimi but Ach didnt have the heart to leave him behind. Cair dia tengok budak tu senyum. So we went, all three of us.

Bora Asmara... Hmm... Nice ambiance. For 1.5 hour, I felt like I was in Bali. Without having to leave KL. Nice.

Yeah, nice ambiance.

Note #1:
Having two major events close to one another is an advantage; I only have to buy one present for both. It's more pocket-friendly. teehehe.

Note #2:
My 2nd anniversary also happens to be the second year that my favorite uncle passed away. Sadly, he passed away that very morning before kami nikah malam tu. We delayed our nikah to attend his burial. My eyes were actually very puffy that night, cause I cried so hard in the afternoon. Al-fatihah untuk arwah pakcik atan. *sob sob*
