Hong Kong Day 2 Part II

We went out at 3 pm I think, after all three of us had a nice sleep. Some people might think that this is a waste of cuti time, taking naps while were on a short holiday. I'd agree if it were just me and ach, but it's a different story when we're traveling with Kimi. For the whole family to have enjoy the trip, it's important that you keep everyone happy, especially the baby. As long as the baby's well-fed and well-rested, then all of us are good to go.

That evening we went to the HK Science Museum. It's about twenty minutes walk from Hop Inn, kinda far, but when there are so many things to see along the way, tak la rasa lama sangat.

On our way to the Museum, we stopped at one bubble tea shops, it's called Gong Cha. Dekat HK ni ada banyak gila bubble tea shops, jalan sepuluh minit dah jumpa 2 kedai, there;s only so much ach and I can drink la kan... btw we bought the plain milk bubble tea and... sedap gila. Better than Tea1 in Yong Peng. Kimi likes the bubbles, not the tea, which is good or else he'll be hogging our tea. =D

Minum bubble tea!
Back to the Museum, the entrance ticket cost us HK$25 each, and interestingly, it's free every Wednesday. It's not a big museum, ada tiga floors and it's very interactive, bak kata ach, more items to see, touch and play with. I think ach and I were more interested to try the experiments than Kimi, dia syok lari-lari je. The exhibits cover banyak topics, like, electricity and magnetism (reminded me of my EE days in RPI), maths, transportation, energy, and yadda yadda. You know, science stuff.

You're supposed to complete the circuit and the train will move
A farmer needs to get across a river. He has a boat to use to get across but only 2 fit in the boat. So he can only put the chicken, or the fox, or the corn in the boat to take it across. But he needs to make sure the fox doesnt eat the chicken and the chicken doesnt eat the corn. How does he get them all across the river without one eating the other?

One of the most interesting exhibits is the Energy Machine, its like those Rube Goldberg Machines. It demonstrates how potential energy is converted to other forms of energy through out its track. Okay, this involves science jargon, aku tak reti explain since its been many years since I left school. But it's interesting, they say its the largest in the world, tinggi dia lebih kurang bangunan tiga tingkat. Awesome, ey?

Then there's this amazing Levitating Water Exhibit. It's amazing because it makes the water droplets look as if they're flowing up and down. You can see the individual droplets, some flow upwards, some flow downwards in slow motion. Seriously amazing.
Macam manik pintu kan?
Mommy got shrunk in the Funny Room
Tah, apehal tah dia macam ni. Over excited kot.
Si Hensem (again, I leave it to you to decice)

All in all we spent about 3 hours here, sampai kaki dah penat tak larat nak jalan, itu pun banyak lagi tak cover. We went back to our room by bus, had our dinner, get some rest, and went out again at 8.

Later that night we went to the Temple Street Night Market, one station away from Hop Inn. It's similar to our Petaling Street, there are t-shirts, table runners, magnets, key chains, perfect place for tourists to get their souvenirs.

Okay, itu je, end of day 2. It was a very, very, very tiring day that I'm amazed that I didnt lose any weight after all those walking. Sigh~
