Hong Kong Day 5: The Day Goofy Bullied Kimi

It's our last day in HK, but our flight wasn't until 6 p.m.  So we checked out at  9, left our luggage at the Hotel's Bell Services Desk and headed to the Disneyland. Since we've covered pretty much everything on the first day, we decided to dedicate the second day to take pictures with as many Disney characters as possible!

That morning I spent 45 minutes queuing under the scorching sun just to take picture with Mickey and Minnie Mouse! While I was queuing, ach and Kimi suka suki took pictures with Chip and Dale, the less famous characters. They didn't even need to queue ok!

Mommy queued for 45 minutes for this shot ok.
Ayah tak queue!
Next we went to Tarzan's Treehouse since tak sempat naik on the first day. Lepas tu we had early lunch / late breakfast at the Tahitian Terrace. I forgot to mention that Disneyland Hollywood Hotel DOES NOT provide breakfast. Or maybe you gotta pay extra for the breakfast or something. Aku tak tau la pulak that part. Anyways, me being asian and especially of indian descendant, was so happy that Tahitian Terrace provides Indian vegetarian meal complete dengan roti canai lagi! A set cost us HK$58.

After lunch we went to Mickey Philharmagic again. Kan the day before Kimi was scared and ach had to take him out. Jadi the second day I took care of Kimi outside while ach enjoyed himself. Actually we tried to bring Kimi in but he was still scared makanya terpaksa la Mommy keluar.

Petang tu we took pictures with Rafiki, Timon, Eeyore, Mickey, Pluto, Minnie and Goofy. Initially Kimi was a bit reluctant to approach the characters, takut la tu. Tapi lama-lama he got really excited about it, even masa queue lagi he kept saying, "Lam, lam!", as in he couldn't wait to shake hands with the characters! I didn't even need to accompany him to the characters anymore! Dia sendiri pegi approach, dia sendiri pegi salam and hug the characters. Haih... adorable betul.

When it was our turn to salam Goofy, Kimi extended his hand to salam Goofy. Lepas tu Goofy main acah-acah dengan Kimi, he, too, extended his hand tapi bila kimi approach dia move ke belakang a bit. Then when he hugged Kimi, he held on so tight and wouldnt let Kimi go sambil ach and I pun acah2 babai Kimi. Comelnya kami! It's no surprise that Kimi remembers this the most, everytime sebut Goofy or when he sees his pictures with Goofy, he would run to us and hugged us tightly while saying, "Ti! Lam! Luk!".

Kimi's New Friend

Kami habis pusing-pusing and jalan-jalan taking pictures by 1 p.m. Sebab dah penat, we stopped for cold drinks at one of the restaurants. Luckily for us, it was near the Mickey's WaterWorks Parade route which was about to start jadi we managed to secure a good spot, which also meant we were getting wet from the water splashes of the parade! Kimi enjoyed this one too, tho he kinda hated being wet.

After that, we went back to the hotel, took our luggage and headed to the airport for our return flight.

Alhamdulillah, the flight back home was OK, it wasn't a full flight so again we managed to get the whole row for ourselves, Kimi behaved quite well and nasi lemak pak nasser never disappoint.

Phew. Finally, I'm done with my Hong Kong stories. I hope I didn't bore you with the long writings of my holiday tehehehehe. I don't blame you if you're bored because I know my writings were too long.Honestly I always tried to make them shorter but I just couldn't! There are so many things to share with you that I just couldnt skip anything, well, not that much at least.

Well, anyways, this will be my last post on HK (maybe ach has other posts planned). IMO, Hong Kong is a very interesting place to visit. Just, please, do not go in the summer because it's really hot there. Unless you don't mind sweating. And, 5 days seemed long in the beginning but turned out to be too short. InsyaAllah kalau ada rezeki lebih we'll return to HK. =)

Thanks to Ach for taking us for the holiday =) And thank you to you for reading my holiday stories. Much love!
